BizzFest 2026 names Robin Cancer Trust as official charity partner

BizzFest 2026 has announced Robin Cancer Trust as its official charity partner, bringing together two organisations united by a shared commitment to supporting young people and creating positive, lasting impact.
The partnership will see the Colchester-based charity play a key role throughout BizzFest 2026, taking place on 17 September at Cressing Temple Barns, where more than 2,000 entrepreneurs, business leaders, investors and professionals are expected to gather for a day of inspiration, networking and business growth.
Robin Cancer Trust is the UK’s only charity dedicated to raising awareness of testicular, ovarian and germ cell cancers. Founded in memory of Robin Freeman, who died from a late-stage germ cell cancer aged just 24, the charity works across the UK to educate, engage and empower young people through life-saving awareness campaigns, educational programmes and support services.
As BizzFest’s official charity partner, Robin Cancer Trust will have a prominent presence throughout the festival, engaging with delegates and sharing its important message around early diagnosis, wellbeing and removing the stigma surrounding cancer conversations.
The collaboration reflects BizzFest’s ambition to create an event that is about more than business success alone, recognising that great leadership also means supporting healthier, happier communities.
Andy Coleman, co-founder of BizzFest, said: “From the very beginning, BizzFest has been about creating positive change. Yes, we want to inspire businesses to grow, but we also want to use the platform we’ve built to support organisations that are making a genuine difference to people’s lives.
“Robin Cancer Trust embodies everything we believe in. Their work is courageous, innovative and incredibly important, particularly in reaching young people with messages that genuinely save lives. We’re incredibly proud to welcome them as our charity partner for BizzFest 2026 and look forward to helping amplify their work to our growing business community.”
Toby Freeman, Founder and CEO of Robin Cancer Trust, said: “Businesses have an incredible ability to influence culture, start conversations and create positive social impact, which is why partnering with BizzFest is such an exciting opportunity for us.
“Every year we engage thousands of young people through schools, universities and workplaces because awareness saves lives. By joining forces with BizzFest, we have another fantastic platform to encourage people to look after themselves, look out for each other and understand that conversations about cancer don’t need to be awkward – they can be life-saving.
“We’re looking forward to meeting the BizzFest community and showing how purpose and business can work hand in hand to make a real difference.”
The announcement comes as BizzFest continues to expand ahead of its second festival, with new partnerships, speakers and initiatives being unveiled in the lead up to September.
This year’s event will feature inspirational keynote speakers, practical workshops, investor opportunities, wellbeing experiences, live entertainment and networking designed to prove that business can be engaging, collaborative and fun.
Organisers say the partnership with Robin Cancer Trust is the first of several community-focused collaborations that will help ensure BizzFest delivers lasting impact beyond the festival itself.
