A Quarter Century of Spice | The Cinnamon Club Celebrates 25th Anniversary

It’s been 25 years since The Cinnamon Club first opened its doors in the historic Grade II listed former Westminster Library. To mark a quarter of a century at the forefront of modern Indian cuisine, Executive Chef Vivek Singh, and members of his original kitchen and front of house team, including chefs Rakesh Nair and Hari Nagaraj, are celebrating this milestone with a 25th Anniversary Tasting Menu. Prepare for a culinary journey that weaves together tradition, innovation and storytelling in each course.

Available from 1st February, the nine-course tasting menu is a celebration of the restaurant’s evolution. Alongside dishes that have shaped The Cinnamon Club’s story since 2001, guests will discover exciting new plates debuting for the very first time. Expect Cinnamon Club signatures such as Vivek’s Scallop and Tuna Ceviche Chaat and exciting new creations including Rakesh’s Mangalore Stir-Fried King Crab Ghee roast.

A long-time champion of British game, from venison and partridge to pigeon and guinea fowl, Vivek has spent two decades infusing native ingredients with the depth and vibrancy of Indian flavours. His Papa Tandoori Squab Pigeon makes an appearance on the menu and perfectly captures this philosophy.

At the heart of the 25th anniversary menu is the showstopping Celebration of British Lamb, where smoked tandoori saddle with Punjabi-style lamb mince, seekh kebab in roomali bread and a fiery Rajasthani curry come together in a perfect union of spice, smoke and signature storytelling.

The anniversary menu is a celebration of the people who have shaped The Cinnamon Club – both in the kitchen and on the restaurant floor, honouring 25 years of hospitality, craft and creativity led by chefs Vivek, Rakesh, Hari, and the wider team.

Chef Vivek Singh comments “A restaurant is more than the food on the plate – it’s the people who work here and the guests who come through the doors. Over the past 25 years, The Cinnamon Club has evolved, but our driving forces remain the same: curiosity, creativity, and an enduring desire to bring new experiences for our guests. I feel so lucky that even now – a quarter of a century on – we continue to push boundaries and elevate modern Indian food.”

The 25th anniversary nine-course tasting experience is priced at £125 per person, with wine pairings available at an additional £85 pp.
